Recently, I was reminded as to how important it is to “know” the people working within or even just attending your church. The church is a hospital for sinners, but it is only responsible to check up on those people so that pastor’s can better help them, and protect the children within the church.
Many years ago when I was an RA and a youth in my local church, there was a monster that crept in to the covy of young boys. He seemed like a nice guy and had good intentions, but the worst happened and he was hauled of to jail. Later we found out that he had a long history of this problem which would have been made know by a good background check.
What I am getting at is if you are involved with children in schools, day care, church groups, etc., protect them with a good program that keeps you informed of the monsters. Stop child abuse!

I worked for an old pastor who did not keep up with technology and she placed too much faith in people to be self revealing and controlling. Don’t let monsters come in and “steal, kill, and destroy” the lives you are commissioned to help protect.
